💬 Fed Chair Jerome Powell stated “Bitcoin is more like gold than a currency”, describing it as speculative. Speaking at the NYT DealBook Summit, Powell dismissed Bitcoin as a U.S. dollar competitor. Bitcoin’s market cap recently surpassed silver, and is currently at $2.04 trillion.

🗳️ President-elect Trump celebrated Bitcoin’s $100,000 milestone with a Truth Social post: "CONGRATULATIONS BITCOINERS!!! $100,000!!! YOU’RE WELCOME!!! Together, we will Make America Great Again." 

🎙️ [VIDEO] Willy Woo, once a top Bitcoin analyst, breaks a 3-year silence in a must-watch interview. He discusses Bitcoin’s energy-based scarcity, adoption by giants like BlackRock, upcoming FASB changes, and its potential as a global reserve asset—reshaping geopolitics and monetary systems.

🇷🇺 Russian President Vladimir Putin declared Bitcoin unbannable and vital for advancing technology. Speaking in Moscow, he emphasized Bitcoin's role in reducing costs and increasing reliability. Russia recently recognized Bitcoin as property, exempting it from VAT, while exploring its use to counter Western sanctions.

🗳️ Trump nominates pro-Bitcoin Paul Atkins as SEC Chair. A former SEC Commissioner and Bitcoin advocate, Atkins places emphasis on free markets and innovation.

🐂 [VIDEO] Michael Saylor, on Fox News' Making Money, predicts Bitcoin's market cap could reach $280 trillion by 2045. That means a price per Bitcoin of $13 million. 
Our take: This was a very nice and clear interview by Saylor. Worth the watch!

🗣️ Rep. Brad Sherman criticized President-elect Trump during a Financial Services Committee hearing. He highlighted Trump’s 2019 anti-Bitcoin tweets, contrasting them with his recent pro-Bitcoin stance. Sherman emphasized the need for regulated stablecoins but remains a staunch crypto critic, opposing the industry entirely.
